WHAT DOES IT COST?
It's all based on how many custom on-hold message programs we create for you per year, and if you need to purchase equipment. We have several popular program offerings but will gladly create a special one for you. Your On Hold Marketing Account Representative will give you specifics based on your unique needs. Typically our 6:00 programs start at as low as $42 a month for an Annual, and only $319 every 3 months for new 8-10 message programs created four times a year.

HOW DO I PAY FOR IT?
You can go Direct from us for 12 months at a time. You purchase your custom hold advertising equipment up front and you own it. Or you can Lease it for 36 months and we'll bundle the equipment and programs into one Quarterly payment. At the end of the low-interest Lease, the equipment is yours for a $1.00 buy-out. Now you own it. Direct or Lease.whichever suits you best. The Lease is our most popular, but we really don't have a preference. You can choose to pay us by direct quarterly billing, or by credit card, or pay the leasing company.

WHAT KIND OF AGREEMENT DO I HAVE TO SIGN?
If you choose Direct from us, we ask for a 12 month commitment. For a Lease it is a 36 month commitment. Only your CPA will know which way is best for you.

HOW OFTEN CAN I CHANGE THE CONTENT OF MY CUSTOM ON-HOLD MESSAGE PROGRAMS?
The frequency of your custom hold message program updates is dictated by the program plan you choose. Your On Hold Marketing Account Representative will help you evaluate how your business changes during the course of a year, thereby helping you decide the best program for your business. We provide great flexibility should our clients want more programs than their agreement calls for.

DO I HAVE TO WRITE THE SCRIPTS?
We have professional copywriters that do all of that for you. First, we gather information from you, including any marketing materials you may have. Next we create the first draft of your script for review and approval. We'll re-write it as many times as we need for your approval. Only when we have your final approval do we produce your program. Your typical time involvement in giving us information should be under 30 minutes. You can write the scripts if you like, but wouldn't you rather spend your time running your business and generating more revenue? We've been writing effective advertising copy for over 30 years, so you can rely on us.

WHAT OTHER WORK DO I HAVE TO DO?
You'll receive a fax or e-mail whenever it's time to update your program. If you want to make changes, simply let us know and we contact you for the details. Once you receive your new program, you only need to install it in your player. We do always request that you call us when you install a new program so that we can check the volume and sound quality. As we've said before, it really is that simple!

WHAT DO I OWN, WHAT DON'T I OWN?
If you obtain your equipment from us Directly, you own it immediately. If you choose to Lease, you own the equipment for a $1.00 buy-out at the end of 36 months. The creative audio programs that we produce remain our intellectual property at all times. You may continue to use them for only as long as you pay for our services. We pay annual music license and voice talent fees that cover your use of the audio for as long as you're an On Hold Marketing customer-in-good-standing.

HOW IS THE ON HOLD EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO MY PHONE SYSTEM?
Quite Simply! 90% of all phone systems have the connection required to hook our player up in five minutes or less. In most cases, installation of our equipment is easier than connecting a VCR to a TV. In the other 10% of phone systems, your original telephone hardware provider can hook our equipment to your system in about 15 minutes. (Not the telephone service provider, like Verizon, but the company that sold you your actual telephone equipment).

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT HOW MY PHONE SYSTEM WORKS?
Our service runs on the "Hold" circuit only. It does not affect any auto-attendant message you may have, or how the auto-attendant answers your phones. It does not change the way your voice mail system sounds or works. We also provide customize Auto-Attendant Messages, and audio messages for voice mail systems. Ask your On Hold Marketing account representative for additional information.
